ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Education Qualification
- The minimum requirement for eligibility is that you must be graduated with a 50% marks from an UGC or AICTE recognized university.
- The following factors create the client case an exception. A question from KB has to be requested to get confirmation of whether you are able to enroll the client prior to selling.
Year Back
The degree must be completed within the prescribed period of time, with no year back.
- Example: B.Com is a 3-year degree. The applicant must have completed the degree within 3 years and not further.
- Example Engineering is a four-year degree. The student must have completed within 4 years , and not more.
Backlogs
- The client shouldn’t be able to have more than 10 backlogs during the time of graduation.
STAY BACK PERIOD IN CANADA AND POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT:
- A student must take a course that has at least 8 months in order to remain in Canada
- A course shorter than 8 months will not permit a student to return and apply for a Post Graduation Work Permit
- For a post-graduation work permits the applicant must complete an internship of 8 months or longer.
1. If the client is taking any course that is of less than two years in duration then he/she can be eligible for a post-graduation working permit of the same duration to the course.
- Example: 8 month course = 8 months work post-graduation permit
2. If the student is enrolled in a two years of study (masters or degree) and is eligible for a post-graduation working permit for 3 years.
- Example Two years of masters/diploma courses = 3 years work post-graduation permit
